The "Vetratoria" station offers the perfect playground: consistent year-round wind, flat water in the protected Lagoon for beginners, and the Speed zone for advanced riders.
We use top-tier RRD (Roberto Ricci Designs) equipment, updated every season to ensure the best experience on the water.

Training Details
This is where we build the foundation. You will learn to control the sail (wing) on a stable board without a hydrofoil.
What you'll master:- Wing handling and flipping techniques.
- Power control and speed management.
- Riding at various wind angles and returning to the base.
Typically, 1-2 sessions are enough to start handling the wing confidently on your own.
At this stage, we remove the wing to focus strictly on balance. You'll practice flying on a hydrofoil board while being towed by a boat.
Core Skills:- Correct stance for taking off.
- Flight height control (pumping basics).
- Board stabilization in the air.
30-40 minutes behind a boat saves hours of struggling with a wing on the water.
Combining all skills: a foil board under your feet and the wind in your wing.
Lesson Objectives:- Independent take-off using the wing's power.
- Sustained flight over long distances.
- Trajectory and direction control.
For a beginner to achieve a steady flight, it usually takes 1 to 3 sessions.
For those already flying but looking to do it with style and without stopping.
Program:- Jibing on the foil.
- Tacking techniques.
- Wing transitions without losing flight altitude.
The most thrilling part. An instructor guides you to spots with the perfect swell.
You will learn:- Wave carving techniques.
- Using wave energy without wing pull (gliding).
- Safe starts and exiting the surf zone.

How to Get Here?
Dahab is located on the Red Sea coast, South Sinai. The nearest international airport is Sharm El Sheikh (SSH), just 100 km away. Dozens of international flights arrive here daily, including convenient connections via Istanbul.
From the airport, the journey to Dahab takes about 1 hour through a scenic desert road. A private transfer is the most comfortable way to start your trip.

Entry Rules & Visa
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
- Free "Sinai Only" stamp: For stays up to 14 days within the Sinai Peninsula.
- Full Tourist Visa ($25): Required if you plan to visit Cairo, Luxor, or stay longer than 15 days.
FAQ
- Wetsuit: Snug fit recommended. We provide 2/2 mm shorties if needed.
- Neoprene boots: Essential for reef protection and grip.
- Gloves: Great for long sessions to prevent chafing.
- Sunscreen: High SPF is a must in Egypt.
All core wingfoil equipment (wings, foils, boards) is included in rental/lessons.
Dahab is a culinary hub. From fresh seafood on the promenade to cozy beach bars right at the station. Most places offer free Wi-Fi and delivery.
Wingfoiling is very accessible. We teach guests from 10 to 65+ years old. No extreme strength is required — it's all about technique and balance.
Most students catch their first "flight" on the foil within 3–5 days. A full week is ideal to start practicing turns and staying upwind consistently.
Dahab boasts 300+ windy days a year. Air: 22–30°C. Water: 21–27°C. It’s a year-round destination, though spring and autumn are the absolute peak for wingers.
