Dahab is a unique place of winds and the capital of water sports. This beautiful resort town is located just one hour from Sharm El-Sheikh airport, Egypt.
Our "Vetratoria" station is both a school and a sports club, where you will discover the world of wingfoiling, master new skills, and expand your horizons.
You will enjoy perfect riding conditions: consistent year-round wind, flat water in the enclosed Lagoon, and a more challenging Speed zone.
We provide state-of-the-art gear with a wide selection of boards, wings, and hydrofoils from the Italian brand Roberto Ricci Designs (RRD).

The unique shoreline landscape divides the sea into three distinct zones for all skill levels:
01. THE LAGOON
Shallow water with a flat surface. Protected by a sandbar, it's the perfect training ground for your first "flights" on the foil.
02. SPEED ZONE
Open space with smooth water and consistent wind. This is where riders perfect their speed and advanced jibes.
03. WAVE ZONE
Venture beyond the reef to long, rolling swells. The ultimate territory for true wing-surfing in the open sea.

Training Details
This is where we build the foundation. You will learn to control the sail (wing) on a stable board without a hydrofoil.
What you'll master:- Wing handling and flipping techniques.
- Power control and speed management.
- Riding at various wind angles and returning to the base.
Typically, 1-2 sessions are enough to start handling the wing confidently on your own.
At this stage, we remove the wing to focus strictly on balance. You'll practice flying on a hydrofoil board while being towed by a boat.
Core Skills:- Correct stance for taking off.
- Flight height control (pumping basics).
- Board stabilization in the air.
30-40 minutes behind a boat saves hours of struggling with a wing on the water.
Combining all skills: a foil board under your feet and the wind in your wing.
Lesson Objectives:- Independent take-off using the wing's power.
- Sustained flight over long distances.
- Trajectory and direction control.
For a beginner to achieve a steady flight, it usually takes 1 to 3 sessions.
For those already flying but looking to do it with style and without stopping.
Program:- Jibing on the foil.
- Tacking techniques.
- Wing transitions without losing flight altitude.
The most thrilling part. An instructor guides you to spots with the perfect swell.
You will learn:- Wave carving techniques.
- Using wave energy without wing pull (gliding).
- Safe starts and exiting the surf zone.

How to Get Here?
Dahab is located on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea, South Sinai. It is only 100 km from Sharm El Sheikh, where the nearest international airport is located. Many international airlines offer direct flights to Egypt from various global hubs.
A convenient way to travel is also via Istanbul. From Sharm El Sheikh, a transfer to Dahab takes about an hour. The best options are a private car or a minivan. The journey typically lasts around 1 hour.

Entry Rules & Visa
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
- If you plan to stay in Sinai for up to 14 days and do not intend to leave the peninsula, you can get a free "Sinai Only" stamp at border control.
- For travel throughout Egypt or stays longer than two weeks, a tourist visa ($25) is required, which can be purchased at the airport.

- Wetsuit: Snug fit recommended. (If you don't have one, we provide 2/2 mm shorties at the station).
- Neoprene boots: To protect your feet from stones and ensure comfort.
- Gloves: Will protect your hands from chafing during the learning process.

All necessary wingfoiling equipment is available for rent at our station.
Dahab offers a wide variety of restaurants with diverse cuisines. You can eat at the beach bar right next to the stations or order delivery from local cafes and restaurants.
Training is suitable for everyone from 10 to 60+ years old. The most important things are a desire to learn and a basic level of physical activity.
